What do evil nuns, retrosynth drenched summers in the ‘80s and superheroes that may or may not be Michael Madsen have in common? They all punished the crew in some form or another this week. First up is The Nun, the latest entry into the Conjuring universe, followed by Fright Night meets true crime throwback flick Summer of ‘84. After all the dust has settled, Robin and Scott have a sad tale to tell of being bamboozled by promises of Michael Madsen super heroics in Assassins Revenge. They also discuss the perfect ham based crime, if the US government is closing observatories for sinister reasons, the Candyman remake, stolen wigs and more. The episode is finished off with a round of Whole Hog in which a man who fights zombies and a man who fights space zombies go toe to toe.
