Episode 157 finds the crew back with Rigby out of the sick
house, and she ain’t got the ‘rona. This episode the crew are back
at Fantasia International Film Festival 2020 and check out Brea
Grant’s 12 HOUR SHIFT starring Graveyard favourite Angela Bettis,
best known for her role as May in the titular indie horror comedy
film, as junkie nurse Mandy who feeds her heroin habit by illegally
selling organs. We also have a peek at The Mortuary Collection,
Ryan Spindell’s horror anthology series and there’s lots of talk
about Angus Scrimm, dicks doing things they weren’t meant to do,
mercy killing your wife a la James Sunderland from Silent Hill 2
and more. The Mortuary Collection was just picked up
by Shudder as part
of their fall line-up, so horror fans better keep their eyes peeled
for this awesome Creepshow-esque spooky send up.
